詩編

 28:2 私の願いの声を聞いてください。私があなたに助けを叫び求めるとき。私の手をあなたの聖所の奥に向けて上げるとき。

 28:3 どうか、悪者どもや不法を行う者どもといっしょに、私をかたづけないでください。彼らは隣人と平和を語りながら、その心には悪があるのです。

 28:4 彼らのすることと、彼らの行う悪にしたがって、彼らに報いてください。その手のしわざにしたがって彼らに報い、その仕打ちに報復してください。

 28:5 彼らは、【主】のなさることもその御手のわざをも悟らないので、主は、彼らを打ちこわし、建て直さない。

 28:6 ほむべきかな。【主】。まことに主は私の願いの声を聞かれた。

 28:7 【主】は私の力、私の盾。私の心は主に拠り頼み、私は助けられた。それゆえ私の心はこおどりして喜び、私は歌をもって、主に感謝しよう。

Psalms

28:2 Hear me when I cry to you for help, /when I lift my hands toward your holy Temple.

28:3 Do not condemn me with the wicked, /with those who do evil- /those whose words are friendly, /but who have hatred in their hearts.

28:4 Punish them for what they have done, /for the evil they have committed. /Punish them for all their deeds; /give them what they deserve!

28:5 They take no notice of what the Lord has done /or of what he has made; /so he will punish them /and destroy them forever.

28:6 Give praise to the Lord; /he has heard my cry for help.

28:7 The Lord protects and defends me; /I trust in him. /He gives me help and makes me glad; /I praise him with joyful songs.
